As a pet photographer, I am constantly on the hunt for scenic places to capture the spirit and personality of the pets that I am with. The lovely Fetherston Gardens in Canberra has captured my heart and become a favourite location for my photos. It's a location not that well known to many so it's beautiful hidden paradise.
One of the reasons Fetherston Gardens is a favourite setting for pet photography is its versatility. Whatever the season or time of day, this lovely refuge has something beautiful for every photo shoot. The gardens take on a mesmerising glow whether illuminated by the delicate golden light of morning or the warm hues of sunset, creating a brilliant backdrop that highlights the inherent beauty of dogs and their surroundings.
It's beautiful throughout the year but my favourite season to photograph here is Spring as the gardens blooms with beautiful flowers of various colours.
A photographer's dream come true, with plenty of free parking, well-kept trails, and nearby facilities.
This place fills a special place in my heart as a pet photographer. Its timeless beauty, natural appeal, and quiet atmosphere make it an ideal setting for photographing the relationship between dogs and their owners. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem and experiencing its charm for yourself. It's a great spot to take your dog for a walk and enjoy the serenity.
