Joining group photography events is an excellent way to become more proficient in pet photography. You get to practice in real-world scenarios and make connections with other passionate photographers. Plus, it’s a lot of fun!
Why Join in Events and Workshops for Photography?
More Practice = Better Photos
Group workshops, especially in-person, give you plenty of opportunities to practice, whether it's figuring out lighting or capturing pets in action. The more you practice, the more comfortable you feel managing various environments, even pets!
Take Advice From Others
There are a wide variety of people with diverse experiences and styles at photography events. Observing how someone else sets up a photo or deals with a pet can inspire you to try out new ideas and techniques in your work.
Boost Your Self-Confidence
Working in a group setting helps you get more comfortable shooting in public places and dealing with distractions. You'll learn to adapt more quickly, which can come in handy while dealing with energetic pets.
Be Inspired
Observing other photographers at work never fails to inspire me. You'll get new inspiration for compositions, stances, and photography techniques that highlight the uniqueness of each pet.
Come on Photo Walks with me!
Joining my Dog Photography Photo Walks is a fantastic way to get started. You'll get lots of time to practice as I give you advice on how to get those perfect pet moments. They're quite casual. You'll get to take pictures of a variety of dogs and discover in an enjoyable and encouraging setting what works and what doesn't.
