So being a dog photographer in Canberra, I'm always on the look out for dog friendly cafes and dog friendly places around Canberra to go to with my dogs. I love going for coffee or brunch and yes I love my dogs so much I would love to be able to take them everywhere with me!
So when I saw on an Instagram story of one of my clients - the cute and cuddly Forrest Budd the Cavoodle having a puppacino at a dog friendly cafe in Braddon I had to go to check it out.
After sussing out from Forrest mum where Forrest was having the puppacino, I discovered this reasonably new cafe called Centrar Cafe. It's located on 16 Lonsdale Street, Braddon. It's co-located with Fanaeians a barbershop.
So off I went on Sunday before a visit to the Haig Park markets to grab a coffee. There was a sign out front that says Pooch & Coffee get a free pup-a-cinno!
Because I was on my own with my 2 dogs James and Pippa (I do have a third pup Rosie but she hates being outside of the home), I wasn't sure if I could bring them inside so I popped my head in and asked. Lexi who was serving us coffee and pup-a-cinno that day said the dogs are welcome inside!
I was very happy because usually we have to sit outside every time I brought my pups anywhere. Off we went inside. There was a selection of cakes and cookies and the red velvet cookie definitely got my attention. In addition to coffee they also had other drink options and I was happy to see that they had matcha latte which I love!
So along with my matcha latte and red velvet cookie, I got a free pup-a-cinno for the pups. I wasn't sure if they would like it so I just got the one to share between Pippa and James.
The pups loved their pup-a-cinno and the kind and wonderful Lexi even offered a second serving from them.
Plus I also enjoyed my matcha latte and cookie and we will definitely be coming here again! Not only was the coffee was great, the atmosphere was really nice and the staff and service was excellent!
If you haven't been here make sure to check them out. You can visit them on Instagram here.
